8K - $77K a year Job Duties and Responsibilities Broad scope tasks are completed by gathering information, requirements, and determining priorities Reviewing plans, specifications, and time cards associated with assigned jobsites Scheduling subcontractors and jobsite visits on an as needed basis Attending meetings with clients, engineers, and municipal jurisdictions Manage all facets of contractual negotiations including initial review, procurement of signatures, budgeting, development and submission of change orders, preparation of sub contractual agreements, etc.
Preparation and real time monitoring of construction schedules Submission of monthly billings for all assigned projects Assurance that punch lists are completed, final inspections have successfully occurred, and processing all closeout documents in a timely fashion Delivering high quality service by following organizational standards Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Providing a positive and mutually beneficial Pihl Excavation experience with every interaction Qualifications Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience Critical thinking expertise, high function problem solving, and value stream mapping throughout the supply chain Experience with excavation, grading, underground utilities, and road construction Ability to remain laser focused on priorities and timelines while managing multiple projects simultaneously Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of projects from inception throughout execution Demonstrate leadership, organization, and ability to effectively plan Basic understanding of construction accounting software like AutoCAD Civil, HCSS HeavyBid, HCSS HeavyJob, HCSS Plans, and AGTEK earthwork Experience with Private, Federal, and State DOT Projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within the company and outside entities Valid driver's license and clean driving record We are drug free company, employees must pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random testing thereafter.
